Crosslake Resort Vacation
on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes
Welcome to Boyd Lodge in beautiful Crosslake, Minnesota! We are a premier year-round lakeside resort on the shores of both Rush Lake and Lower Whitefish Lake. That’s right: we have access to all 14 lakes in the Whitefish Chain!
During the summer, we specialize in the traditional family lake vacations you remember from your youth: turtle races, root beer floats, scavenger hunts, swimming, fishing, and pretty much everything from your childhood trips to the lake.
In the winter, our excellent ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing are exactly what you hope for in a traditional “up north” Minnesota winter vacation on the lake. When you return to your cabin or cottage after a day of outdoor activities, why not curl up in front of the fireplace and enjoy a real wood-burning fire?
Boyd Lodge is your year-round destination for Minnesota lakeside vacations. Depending on the time of year, we are the perfect resort for families, couples, and large groups. Our cabins and cottages sleep from 6 to 12 people, and they are loaded with all the creature comforts you expect, including Wi-Fi, HDTV, fireplace and more. Some even have two-person tubs with jets!
AT BOYD LODGE
When you think of a Minnesota lake resort summer vacation, what do you picture? For us, it’s spending all our time outside during the sunny days and driving “into town” to shop on the rainy days. Sound familiar?
If so, a Crosslake, Minnesota vacation is perfect for you! From turtle races and Boydo at the lodge to antiquing and museums in town – we have it all.
Don’t worry… there’s no shortage of things to do the rest of the year! Hiking through the woods as the leaves change, ice fishing and snowmobiling as the snow falls, and canoeing along the picturesque shoreline as the last bit of ice melts away and the buds form on the trees…
You will never be bored at
In addition to our fabulous acreage, beaches, and lakeside vistas, we also offer our guests a beautiful 50-person banquet room. This is not your grandmother’s church basement! Our banquet room is new, beautiful, and appropriately rustic. When you’re here, you know you’re “up at the lake,” which is exactly the sentiment so many of our guests want for their weddings, family reunions, business meetings, and other group get-togethers (think yoga retreats and book-club getaways).
